A Big-Data driven case-study for a travel industry. SPG put together a travel package platform, following the concepts similar to skyscanner, kayak, expedia and the like.
Spo is a state-of-the-art travel package aggregator that can seamlessly combine the databases of the largest Ukrainian travel agents. This is done primarily by providing users with a powerful faceted search system that can work with real-time data and deliver the most relevant results. Using technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Java, JQuery and MongoDB, Software Planet Group built the system to support millions of unique travel offers and set up a failsafe network cluster that can guarantee continuous performance.
